How to monitor log files in NetGain Systems

Prerequisite : Create a log file in the location that the user wants to monitor (for example: D:\test\testing.txt), where the D:\test is the location of the folder and testing.txt is the log monitoring file that the user needs to monitor.

1. Monitor  >Status > Object >Device > + Monitor
   

   Check if Agent is running on the device that is being monitored.

2. System > Generic > Log File (Manual create)
   

3. Edit the Label, File name, Keyword
   

4. Threshold setting of log

   
   
   

5. It will be come critical when the log add the keyword.
   

   Note : The log file for monitoring can be of various formats , like for example : log111.txt (static file format), yyyy/mm/dd (year, month, date format)
